Triathlon
Damon Buffini – ‘Scott helped me through a 16 week progressive training plan combining personal training sessions, specific training programme design and nutritional advice. By the end of the 16 weeks I felt great and knew I would complete the course, but just to make sure Scott decided to compete with me to help me through any tough spots. With Scott not only by my side during the 16 weeks of training but also during the competition I not only completed the race but felt great afterward. Scott is an inspiring trainer who can seemingly get the best out of anyone. I personally believe that if you train with Scott you will not only get results but have fun along the way.’
Rob Kelly – ‘When I told Scott that I wanted to compete in a triathlon I was overweight and unfit. With Scott’s varied training sessions and general advice I managed to complete the race and in doing so won a £50 bet with my wife! Somehow Scott manages to distract you from the negatives and push you towards the positives - a truly inspiring coach and trainer.’
Strength and Power
Mark Satchell – ‘Since training with Scott twice a week my strength and fitness have gone through the roof. When I started with Scott I could barely bench press 60kg, now I can lift 110kg (and I’m still progressing!).Scott has managed to improve my strength, increase my muscle mass and as if that wasn’t enough I’ve lost over 6kg of fat. This is definitely one thing I don’t regret doing.’
Wedding
Jess Torode – ‘I had previously trained with Scott after I’d given birth to my second child. So when I decided on my wedding date I knew it was time to up the intensity and get the body I wanted for my big day. Scott was an obvious choice as I had really enjoyed our previous training together. Scott helped me to lose 1.5 stone and sculpt my body to the shape I had desired so much. Working out with Scott not only helped with my physical appearance but helped to relieve the stress of planning the wedding. I can whole heartedly recommend a couple of kick boxing sessions if you need to vent some frustration. Even if I do say so myself, I looked stunning on my wedding day!’
Ante/Post Natal
Geraldine Banks – Ante Natal – ‘Having trained with Scott before my pregnancy I had reached a good level of fitness, staying with Scott through the duration of my pregnancy allowed me to maintain my fitness level and give birth to a wonderful, healthy baby girl. I felt fine during my labour and felt ready for exercise within weeks of the birth’
Jess Torode – Post Natal - ‘I started training with Scott after giving birth to my second child, after 9 months of pretty much no exercise Scott managed to motivate me even through the very hard times and helped me to lose my baby weight and feel fit and healthy. Scott was great, he even pushed the pram around the park on our runs and allowed me to work out at home so that I didn’t have to leave my baby.’
Rehabilitation
Alin Ryan Von Buch – ‘When I realised that my hip wasn’t getting better purely through physiotherapy I knew I needed to start some specific rehabilitation training. Scott has helped me progress from the very basics to more advanced movements. There have been some tough times along the way but Scott’s vast knowledge of what I should and shouldn’t be doing has helped me to keep moving forward I am now feeling great. My hip is almost as good as new but this doesn’t mean I will stop training with Scott.’
Flexibility/Mobility
Mike Morony – ‘When I started training with Scott I had a few goals that I wanted to achieve but no true direction. One of the big things I wanted to change was my posture. Scott knew this wasn’t my only goal so introduced specific exercises into my workout that would increase my shoulder and back mobility without compromising my other goals. My posture is improving and I’ve managed to lose weight and get fitter at the same time.’
