Metis Physio Centre - Covent Garden

Metis can be found on Drury Lane in the centre or London.  It has a fantastic gym offering cardiovascular equipment, resistance machines, free weights and more.  As Metis is a physiotherapist centre the gym is only used for rehabilitation of clients.  This means that the gym is very quiet allowing you to use the equipment that you want without any waiting at all.  This is very different to some of the bigger chain gyms as you will find yourself wasting half of your time waiting for equipment.  Metis also boasts a hypoxic training chamber which will allow you to train at 'altitude' gaining the associated beneifts of increased fitness and increased fat burning.  The other huge benifit of Metis is that if you do pick up an injury then i can work hand in hand with the physiotherapist to help speed up the rehabilitation process.  Click here to go to the Metis home page.

West 4 Health & Fitness Club - Chiswick

Scott is pleased to announce the newest arrival on his list of training facilities.  West 4 can be found in the heart of Chiswick and like the other studios and health clubs Scott uses, West 4 is never overcrowded allowing for a full personal training service without the need to wait for the correct piece of equipment to become available.  Click here to go to the West 4 Health & Fitness Club home page

Bodyline Studios - Ealing

Bodyline studios is situated in the heart of Ealing.  The studio is spacious and fully equiped and only used for personal training.  This exclusivity means that the studio is never busy and always has a private feel.  Click here to go to the Bodyline Studios home page.

Personal Training Studios W10 - Kensal Town

W10 Training studio is in a great location within easy reach from Ladbroke Grove, Westbourne Grove, Kensal Rise and Notting Hill Gate.  Designed for the sole purpose of personal training this studio has all the equipment you will need to achieve your health and fitness goals.  Click here to go to the W10 home page.

Home Training

Home training is a great option for everyone.  It is often overlooked as many people believe they will not be able to get a good workout without all of the equipment a gym can offer.  Quite simply this does not have to be the case.  With some basic equipment (at minimal cost) and some good programme design and session planning it can be just as hard as in a gym.  This is great option if you really are against the clock and can't afford to spend time travelling to and from the gym adding around an hour to your workout.  Please contact me to find out exactly what could be done in your house to suit your fitness requirements.

Park

Park training is a great option if you like the outdoors.  Most people in London live within walking distance of a park so it is a good option for most.  As with home training this helps to cut down the total time commitment needed.  The park is a great place to train as the open space combined with good exercise knowledge and imagination can help create a fun and effective workout towards most goals.  Please contact me to find out more information on park training.  Click here to read my article in the Times newspaper about outdoor training.

Athletics Track

With a background in athletics I still like to use the track as it is a great place to perform a well structured exercise session.  There are many tracks spread across London and most of them are happy to let you use the track for a small charge.  The training needn't be purely running based and can include a huge array of exercises to push your whole body to its limits.  If you have a track near you and would like to know more details about what training we could do together then please contact meClick here for a list of athletic tracks in the UK.
